
Sadly we have had to postpone our V J Day 75th Anniversary event due to COVID-19.
We will however be holding the original planned event and celebration in the Guildhall at a later date.
At 11:00 on Saturday 15th August mnay churches will ring out 75 bell tolls as a Remembrance.
VJ Day 75, is the end of WW2. A memorial service is planned to remember those Men, Women and Children in the Far East. When VE Day came to end, thousands were still fighting in the war of the Pacific Islands, Sumatra, Java, Hong Kong and Dutch East Indies.

Please be seated by 11:00. Service will be attended by members of the public. Everyone is welcome.
A Celebration will be held in the Plymouth Guildhall.
Entry by purchased security wrist band at a cost of only £3:00 per person.
